Discothèque is a perfume house founded between Los Angeles and London by Jessie Willner, Hanover Booth and Whitney Moulton. Each fragrance begins with a specific night: a city, a year and a club that really existed, from Les Bains Douches in 1979s Paris to Amnesia in 1989 Ibiza. The brand formulates and makes them in small batches in the UK and presents them in a bottle with a disco ball cap.

At All Yours, you’ll find the collection in eau de parfum. If you’re after something fresh, All Night Until First Light opens with grapefruit and rum, Sweat, Tears, Paradise brings sea salt and absinthe, and Heathens, Cowboys and the Santa Ana Winds is about sandalwood, cedar and sweet grass. The florals are Call For A Good Time, with jasmine and violet, and Baise Moi on the Dancefloor, with iris and blackcurrant. On the darker side are Dark Imagination, rose with leather and smoke, and Eye Contact, leather, oud and saffron. And on the softer side, Lola at Coat Check with white chocolate and iris, and Next To Me Or Nothing, cold milk, jasmine and musk.

If it’s your first Discothèque, Heathens, Cowboys and the Santa Ana Winds is the easiest to wear every day, and for the evening Lola at Coat Check or Dark Imagination, which stands out much more. Each fragrance has its 1.5 ml sample, if you’d rather try it on the skin first.
