Ephemeral Dyadic

Ephemeral Dyadic is the perfume project artist Sinan Saul launched in a small studio in Istanbul’s industrial district, where all his fragrances are created and produced. The name says it all: ephemeral is what is fleeting, and dyadic is the relationship between two. The idea is that the scent disappears and what it made you feel stays, and each perfume is born from a text: a poem, a song, or a film scene.

The collection moves from fresh to dark. On the bright side are the peach and champagne of Missing Feeling and the pear and kumquat of Acid Aqua, and on the dry side, the ink and pine of Another World. The incenses are Bodhi & Utah, with iris and tea, and Psychic Vibrations, with cannabis and burnt vanilla. In the warm and dense section are the labdanum and tobacco of Liquid Skin, the oud with raspberry of Lost Chemistry, the resinous amber of Ozymandias and the milk with jasmine of No Taboos. And separately, Dark Dreams, which ends in a gasoline accord.
