Pana Dora

Pana Dora is a Swedish perfume house founded in 2019 in Emmaboda by the Syrian-Swedish perfumer Ibrahim Al-Zoubi, who previously spent around 30 years creating for major companies. It combines the richness of oriental perfumery with a more Scandinavian way of composing, and you’ll recognize it by the bottle, topped with a sculpted deer head. He signs all of its perfumes.

Many draw from Sweden. Aqua de Dora is born of a summer on the island of Öland and is fresh, with grapefruit and fig. Dorasima celebrates Midsommar with rose, jasmine and woods. Kropp & Själ, meaning body and soul, is a floral amber with ginger and saffron. XVI is inspired by Drottningholm Palace and is woody and spicy, with frankincense and patchouli. And Moonlight is a Nordic moonlit night with plum, chocolate, tobacco and honey. Completing the selection are Forever Love, citrusy and fruity with mango and iris; Orchestra, composed like a symphony of nutmeg, leather and Oud; and Oud Republic, its extrait de Oud with saffron, rose and sandalwood.

Where to start with Pana Dora

If you’re looking for something fresh for the heat, Aqua de Dora is one of the house’s most sought-after scents. If you like Oud, go for Oud Republic. For a winter treat, Moonlight. And if you prefer bright florals, Forever Love or Dorasima. Each perfume has its 1.5 ml sample so you can try it on your skin first.
