Hypertension by Al Ambra, created in collaboration with Rico Fragrance, opens with the juicy sweetness of raspberry and lychee, balanced by grapefruit, which provides the citrus contrast. Saffron adds a dry warmth and coriander and basil a herbal freshness, so sweetness, spice and freshness coexist from the very first moment.
In the heart, rose brings elegance and osmanthus a nuance reminiscent of apricot and links to the fruity opening. Orange blossom adds floral brightness, cardamom and ginger a spicy warmth, and tonka bean rounds it out with a soft sweetness that prepares the transition to the base.
In the base, Hypertension becomes deeper and woodier. Leather and oud mark an intense character, tobacco adds a warm and somewhat dry dimension, cedar gives structure, and amber and Amberwood close with a resinous warmth.
